How should I care for my Brysiewicz jewellery?

Your Brysiewicz jewellery should be handled with care at all times. You can prolong the life of your jewellery by properly and regularly caring for it.

Sterling silver is prone to tarnishing, it tarnishes because the copper it contains reacts to oxygen, moisture, and sulfur in the air. It will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph.

That’s why you need to regularly clean it and keep it looking shiny and new. This can be done by polishing it with a special cloth, or dipping it into a jewellery cleaning solution. Soap, cream and make-up residues can be removed using an ultrasonic device. After that, it’s as good as new.

Jewellery should be stored away from sunlight and heat, in a protective jewellery box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.
We recommend that you do not wear any jewellery whilst bathing, whilst in bed or during sporting activities.

Are and how Brysiewicz products hallmarked?
We stamp every piece with quality marks to indicate the metal’s purity and to guarantee that the metal is of high-quality.
Every item is hallmarked 925 or 925 AG (symbol AG stands for a chemical element of Silver)

What are Brysiewicz products made of?
All our products are made of the highest quality Sterling Silver. This is nickel-free and thus suitable for wear by allergy sufferers. Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% silver, and the remaining part consists of copper – mostly copper. This is the reason why Sterling Silver is popularly referred to as 925 Sterling Silver or just 925 Silver.
The reason silver needs to be combined with other metals is that it is very difficult to make great designs with just pure silver, which is very soft and malleable. A bit of hardness has to be introduced, by adding other metals such as copper.

Do you offer engraving?
We currently do not offer an engraving service.

Will my item arrive with official brand packaging?
Yes, all items will arrive in luxurious and stylish jewellery box and bag with brand logo and will be delivered to your door quickly and securely. The packaging may differ depending on the items purchased, but it will always be official brand packaging.
One gift bag will be included with every order unless otherwise requested in the delivery notes, whereby we will attempt to satisfy all requests but cannot guarantee extra bags. However, at all times, official brand packaging will accompany your order.


How do I place an order?
It’s really easy to place an order. To place an order please select your desired item(s) and add to your shopping basket. Once you are satisfied with your selection, follow the instructions on the checkout page to complete your order. As soon as you confirm your order and submit the payment, an automated e-mail confirmation will be sent to you.

Is it safe to shop on Brysiewicz Jewellery website?
Yes, it is 100% secure to order online. Our secure servers protect all personal information entered throughout the ordering process using advanced encryption and firewall technology, and we do not store your payment details in order to provide a further level of protection.

Can I amend an order after it has been placed?
You are able to make changes to your order up to the point at which you click on the Place Order button at checkout. Changes cannot be made once the order has been placed. However, you can return items back to us for an exchange or full refund.
If you wish to add an item to an existing order, you will have to create a new order. However, it is easy to manage orders in your account so you can monitor the status of multiple orders.

Can I cancel an order after it has been placed?
Please contact us as soon as possible by email contactus@brysiewiczjewellery.com and requesting cancellation. Whilst we will always attempt to cancel your order for you and prevent dispatch of the products, this may not be possible due to the speed with which orders are processed.
If we are unable to cancel your order, you have the option to refuse the delivery, in which case the products will be returned to our website, or accept the delivery and make a return. We will then give a full refund or offer an exchange.

The item I want is out of stock. Will it be back in stock soon?
Unfortunately, we cannot confirm when an out of stock item will be back in stock, if it will at all. If an item is marked as discontinued, then it will not be back in stock. Similarly, if a sale item is sold out then it is very unlikely to become available again.

Can I make an order if I need it to be delivered overseas?
Yes, we offer overseas delivery. When selecting your address at checkout, a list of countries are presented in a drop-down menu – please select your chosen country from this list. If your chosen country does not appear on this list, please get in touch with Customer Services via Contact Us and we can advise you whether or not we can deliver to your country.

Returns and exchanges:

How can I make a return?
If you would like to return an item, please return it to us within 14 days of receiving your order unworn and unused, together with the original packaging. Upon the receipt of your return we will either exchange the item or issue you with a refund, as per your request.
Please note that earrings and any other pierced jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.
We recommend parcels are returned via traceable insured delivery method. We cannot accept responsibility for an item we have not received, therefore a signed-for delivery option is advisable.

How long will it take for my refund or exchange to be processed?
We process returns on the day they are received. We do advise refunds can take up to 7 days to reach your account, depending on your card provider.
If you require an item to be exchanged and are worried the replacement might not get out to you in time for a special date, then it may be quicker for you to place a new order and have us refund the original order separately rather than going through the usual exchange procedure.
